Selaginella, sometimes referred to as spike moss, is related to club moss and ferns and reproduces by spores. Native to tropical forest areas, it has been growing on the earth since long before the dinosaurs.

Keep plant moist at all times. They are very sensitive to drying.
Selaginella prefer not to be exposed to full sunshine. indirect light or shade will work best.
Selaginella may be propagated by inserting cuttings of shoots in compost and moistened daily. They will produce roots quickly.
