Golden Mosaic Ctenanthe Lubbersiana
Ctenanthe Lubbersiana Golden Mosaic
Ctenanthe are related to Maranta (Never Never Plant), Calathea and Stromanthe and are best known for their fantastic leaf patterns! Also known as prayer plants for the way their leaves close up at night. Golden Mosaic is a lovely striped variety with flashed of yellow.
How to care for your ctenanthe
They dislike direct sunlight. If exposed to direct light, their leaves will fade in colour intensity and often develop blotches or patches. Water from the bottom, using a saucer, twice a week and mist every three days. If planted in a pot with no drainage holes, mist thoroughly over the soil as well as the leaves. Likes moist soil, but take care to not over water. Brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.
