Calathea White Star
It's no wonder calathea's are such a popular houseplant, with their large variety of beautiful markings, each variety different to the last they add a gorgeous vibrancy to your home! Calathea white star leaves have deep green veins on a white background, flushed with a soft pink. The underside of the leaves also has a darker pink colouring. As the leaves are quite firm and stand away from the plant this helps to show off the wonderful pattern and colouring on each leaf.
How to care for your calathea
Water: They must be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy.
Light: Calathea need plenty of diffused light however direct sunlight will cause the leaves to fade and lose their markings.
Humidity: They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.
Temperature: They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.
